Midtown/Atlanta - 11/18/07 - Bazzaar Restaurant, next to the historic Fox Theater will be the location for a bold new artistic event, Atlanta’s first 12”x12” Party! Launching on Wednesday, December 12 (12/12) with a VIP reception from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and continuing with showcases on Thursday and Friday (12/13 and 12/14), from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, the unique concept will bring 12 highly regarded regional artists and painters together - all creating works on 12”x12” canvases. The Thursday and Friday showcases are free and are open to the general public.
Each artists will present 12 new works created specifically for this show - and each will be offered for a standard rate of $200.00. These highly successful artists have works that usually cost much more, making the 12”x12” works instantly collectable and of greater value. This is a chance for art fans and the casual collector to purchase great works at an affordable cost and perhaps to develop a relationship between the collector and the artists, who will all be present. The concept is also perfect for those that are looking for that special piece to accent their décor - or for great holiday gifts for family or friends.
Bazzaar has the perfect atmosphere for the 12x12 Party and will provide an excellent backdrop for the art. The casual, yet sophisticated space is both a great restaurant and a perfect place for friends to meet for spirited drinks and lively conversations. Bazzaar’s comfortable space creates a relaxing environment for the 12x12 concept that could not be attained in a traditional art gallery.
